Beethoven

Message from the president

Welcome to the Beethoven Society of Melrose!

This is a very dynamic and fun group of people dedicated to the art of music. We mostly perform different combinations of chamber music and solo pieces but we have a variety of possibilities from violin and piano duos to Broadway show tunes and whole miniature Musical productions. You make it happen!

The history of the Beethoven Society is very rich and dates back to the 1920’s. That is a lot of music that has been played!

We are a very diverse group with a mix of people with different backgrounds. Students, professionals, music lovers everywhere of all kinds and all walks of life.

Besides the members of the Beethoven Society who perform regularly, amateurs or professionals, we’ve had great conservatory students playing as guests for us before their debut in Carnegie Hall and other exciting arrangements, also professionals in the music field who like to share their playing with us.

Our members are very welcoming and enthusiastic about music. You will feel very comfortable playing here!

I hope you enjoying reading about us and browsing the Website. We post the dates and information for the upcoming meetings online so please feel free to come to the concerts and meet us.
